The Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NextStop, a group travel planning application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
NextStop helps friends align travel preferences, save travel ideas, vote on activities, and generate AI-powered itineraries. The app is provided on an "as is" basis.
Accounts and Acceptable Use
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent.
NextStop offers a free tier with limited features per trip, and a Premium Trip unlock for a one-time fee per trip. All payments are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable once Premium features have been accessed, except where required by applicable law.
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or accounts
- Abuse the AI generation features (e.g., automated scripting to exhaust rate limits)
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the app's code or design
Content and AI Disclaimer
User content: You retain ownership of any content you create in the app (trip ideas, notes, preferences, expenses). By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process this content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
When you share a trip with other participants via an invite link, your trip data (ideas, preferences, votes, expenses) becomes visible to other participants in that trip. You are responsible for only inviting people you trust.
AI-generated content: Itineraries, personality profiles, conflict resolutions, and cost estimates are generated by AI and are provided as suggestions only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, including opening hours, travel times, costs, or logistical feasibility. You are responsible for verifying any information before making bookings or travel decisions based on it.
Liability and Your Rights
Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextStop and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to: inaccurate AI-generated itineraries, missed bookings, incorrect expense calculations, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Account deletion: You may delete your account at any time from your Profile Settings. Deletion permanently removes all your personal data, trips, preferences, votes, ideas, and budget information. This action cannot be undone.
Privacy: Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Changes: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
